WATCHMEN, SOUND THE ALARM!

"The word of the LORD came to me:  'Son of man speak to your countrymen and say to them:  'When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not take warning and the sword comes and takes his life, his blood will be on his own head.  Since he heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning, his blood will be on his own head.  If he had taken warning, he would have saved himself.  But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.

Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the [citizens and church in America]; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.  When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die, and you do not speak out to dissuade him from his ways, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.  But if you do warn the wicked man to turn from his ways and he does not do so, he will die for his sin, but you will have saved yourself.

Son of man, say to the [people and church of America], 'This is what you are saying:  "Our offenses and sins weigh us down, and we are wasting away because of them.  How then can we live?  Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live.  Turn!  Turn from your evil ways!  Why will you die, [O people and church of America].

Therefore, son of man, say to your countrymen, 'The righteousness of the righteous man will not save him when he disobeys, and the wickedness of the wicked man will not cause him to fall when he turns from it.  The righteous man, if he sins, will not be allowed to live because of his former righteousness.  If I tell the righteous man that he will surely live, but then he trusts in his righteousness and does evil, none of the righteous things he has done will be remembered; he will die for the evil he has done.  And if I say to the wicked man, 'You will surely die,' but he then turns away from his sin and does what is just and right - if he gives back what he took in pledge for a loan, returns what he has stolen, follows the decrees that give life, and does no evil, he will surely live; he will not die.  None of the sins he has committed will be remembered against him.  He has done what is just and right; he will surely live.

Yet your countrymen say, 'The way of the LORD is not just.'  But it is their way that is not just.  If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will die for it.  And if a wicked man turns away from his wickedness and does what is just and right, he will live by doing so.  Yet, [citizens and church of America] you say, 'The way of the LORD is not just.'  But I will judge each of you according to his own ways." - Ezekiel 33:1-20

All true believers in Christ need to fill this role of "watchman" for their country, whether it be for America or any other nation on the globe, and sound the alarm to our societies as a nation that life has got to change and we have the answer!

The issues that are plaguing us now worldwide and as a nation are not new.  However, the frequency and intensity of the issues are increasing.  Scripture likens the signs, not of the end of the world, but the end of the age, to labor pains - contractions (Matthew 24:8).  The closer the contractions are together the more painfully intense each one becomes until finally the baby arrives.  The more and more we see the headlines line up with the signs the Scriptures warned us about and see them happen more frequent and more intensely, the Word of God says for true believers to "look up for your redemption is near" - Jesus Christ (Luke 21:28).

I know to some it is a fine line between "fear mongering" and teaching a doctrine of "turn or burn" even if a person is justified by the numerous prophecies of the Bible that have been fulfilled and are being fulfilled today.  However, with someone's eternal soul in the balance, with a nation's soul, with a world's soul, in the balance, all true believers - "Watchmen" - need to sound the alarm loud and strong - time is short, accept Christ as your Ultimate Hero/Savior!

Jesus died for the worse rebellious lifestyle to the least.  Jesus paid it all for us all and does not want anyone to perish, but all to come to repentance through belief in His payment!  He says there is no other way (John 14:6).  "...man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment," (Hebrews 9:27), so don't miss out on this Way Out provided by Jesus!  There is No Reincarnation!  What a sad, low standard thing to believe anyway.  Believing that one has to come back in some form or fashion and do penance for your mistakes.  I would rather believe what the Bible teaches - Jesus paid it all for all!!!

Even in light of Rapture nay-sayers, Jesus promised His return, through Paul under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.  However, the Bible predicts even the "scoffers" that would come and say, "Where is this coming prophesied throughout the ages?"  To me scoffers on the scene speaks of the length of time from the description of the end of the age by Christ Himself until His coming to be long by human standards.  We have had scoffers in the past, but with the recent emphasis on the Rapture in Christian circles, scoffers are primed to really start coming out.  Plus, the lack of Christ's arrival with all the terrible world and national conditions will contribute to scoffers coming on the scene in droves and proclaiming their mockery.  However, Christ is coming.  Are you Rapture Ready?  Do you want to be?  Even after the true believers in Christ have left this planet and it will be obvious to the world what has happened, many will still choose to believe a lie that will be submitted for consuming (i.e. aliens, the universe, evolution, etc..).

Christ came the first time to do the work required for our salvation - living the perfect life, dying on the cross, and being resurrected from the dead.

Now seated at Father God's right hand He waits to come back and receive unto Himself the church that has been establishing His kingdom on earth, in people's lives, throughout history since He ascended.

Then after a seven year period known as the Tribulation, Christ will return with the true believers to rule and reign with Him as He sets-up His Millennial Kingdom on earth.

So, Watchmen, Sound The Alarm!  Time is short and the eternal perspective is at hand.  May God be with you.
