WHERE IN THE WORLD ARE WE HEADED?
So, I ask it again here, in the body of this writing - Where In The World Are We Headed?
Scripture or The Bible says that the world is headed toward a fourth kingdom that is worldwide. A global community with ten (10) divisions of the world and ten (10) horns/kings/presidents/rulers governing those divisions. There will also be a particular horn or king that rises in power and does not care for the Most High (Christian/Jewish God) or any person/saint associated with Him. This particular horn/king, known as the "little horn" in Daniel 7:8 is the man with all the right answers for the world, but a violent appetite for power. He is the one Christians call the antichrist.
'The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. - Daniel 7:23-25
The world is ripe. The world is ripe for a harvest of new believers in Christ Jesus. The world is ripe for the major prophetic events of the Bible to start falling like dominoes. In John Hagee's - Countdown Jerusalem - copyrighted 2007, he says (p.127),

- "There are ten prophetic signs in Scripture that describe the world in the last days. When these ten prophetic signs occur in one generation, that generation will see the end of the age.
TEN PROPHETIC SIGNS OF THE END-TIME WORLD
The knowledge explosion - Daniel 12:4
Plague in the middle East - Zechariah 14:12-15
The rebirth of Israel - Isaiah 66:8-10
The Jews will return home - Jeremiah 23:7-8
Jerusalem no longer under Gentile control - Luke 21:24
International instant communication - Revelation 11:3, 7-10
Days of deception - Matthew 24:4
Famines and pestilence - Matthew 24:7-8
Earthquakes [in various places] - Matthew 24:7-8
"As in the days of Noah..." - Matthew 24:36-39"
There are other Biblical signs to the End-Time, for example Luke 21:25 says "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea."
However, to exhaust all signs in detail I encourage you to pick up material by Hagee, LaHaye, Walvoord, and/or Graham.
If you believe in a Pre-Tribulational Rapture, which is the only escape plan that makes sense, ("wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead--Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath. - 1Thess. 1:10) then the closer we are to the Tribulation, the closer Christians are to The Rapture.
So, what can we look for to begin the Tribulation? Hopefully I and my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ will not be around to see what I am about to explain, but merely the lead-up to it. Daniel 9:27 elaborates on that other king spoken of earlier in Daniel 7:23-25 -
- "He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing [of the temple] he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."
The Tribulation is known as a seven year period of time on earth that God uses as His final opportunities to get His message across to humanity. It is also a time for God's personal dealings with Israel - "to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy." - Daniel 9:24 However, during this seven year Tribulation period the world has a man on the scene that supposedly has it all figured out.
Confirming a covenant with many means that a condition has to exist that causes the antichrist to come along and confirm with Israel and possibly the surrounding nations an agreement they once had with God for protection against enemies. At this point in time the antichrist would offer his services and then 3.5 years later go back on them. One of those promises could be the allowing of animal sacrifices again because at the end of the first 3.5 years the AC does away with it (Daniel 9:27). It has to be in existence for it to be done away with. The Jewish Temple will need to be rebuilt. This could be part of the covenant dealings because once again 3.5 years later the AC is found setting up an abomination that causes desolation on a wing of the temple. It has to be in existence for it to be defiled.
So, keep your eye on Israel and the Middle East for sure. Meanwhile, the more events that transpire pushing the world toward a global community; the more intense and frequent the many signs of the end-times continue to be fulfilled; the more people preach "Peace and Safety"; the more scoffers say "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." (2 Peter 3:4).....THEN......
When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." - Luke 21:28
